Meet Patti Mills-Roy, Your Luxury Travel Professional

My husband and I are travel fiends - and one of our most memorable travel experiences was from our initial bucket list trip to South Africa. We were staying at a safari lodge in Sabi Sands and had experienced an exciting night time game drive.  We arrived ‘home’ to our lodging to find an elegantly laid table for 2, ready for us to enjoy a fabulous culinary experience with 5 courses brought to us prepared a la minute.  There was champagne, flickering candles and petals all over our bathroom and a bathtub filled with bubbles.  For us, this moment epitomized luxury - the staff went above and beyond to make this evening an indulgent one we would never ever forget!

 

I'm so thankful my husband and I prioritized trips like this one - especially when he suffered from a heart attack in 2017.  It jolted both of us, and reminded us how precious (and short!) life really can be.  We want to make sure we're making the most of it - and I want to make sure I'm helping my own clients do the same.

  1. I have visited 37 countries including my favorite, i.e. Australia 18 times.

  2. Another favorite is the wonderful South Africa visited a total of 3 times with more planned in the future, for sure!

  3. I spent 13 years traveling internationally on buying trips for large retail entity in Canada.

  4. My previous career to travel was owning a large retail franchise business for 20 years.

  5. I've been on 9 luxury ocean cruises all over the world, including Regent, Silversea and Oceania.

  6. I am a permanent resident of the U.S. and also currently have my Canadian and Australian citizenship.

  7. Owning 2 large dogs confirms my absolute love for dogs cause they're a lot of work, especially the Great Pyrenees!

  8. I've done destination specialist training for Australia, New Zealand, Hawaii, South Africa, East Africa, Spain, Malta, and so many more fabulous locations...

  9. I've completed "Preferred Supplier Training" for such prestigious brands such as Regent, Crystal Cruises, Oceania, Silversea, Seabourn, Tauck, Uniworld, AMA Waterways, Abercrombie & Kent, and many, many more…

  10. I happen to be a devout Wine lover having visited many, many wineries in many different regions all around the world including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Canada, U.S., Greece, Italy, France and more...
