An Emotional Release is Good

Well, I think it all finally got to me this past week and I had a "good cry" this week that was likely long overdue. I think what really triggered it was Mother's Day and not being with my Mom for that special day and not knowing for sure when I'll get to physically see both Mom & Dad again and be able to give them a great big, warm hug!

It all just got to me and I finally couldn't hold back the tears and grief over it all. I think you'd have to be a superhuman, with no emotion, to not break down at some point with all that's going on in our world right now. It's still just so surreal. One thing is certain in my mind though, an emotional release is a good thing.

This past week also brought a couple more cancellations with my business of some great Fall luxury cruise bookings for 2 wonderful couples that were celebrating a milestone birthday. Happily, I've had a good number of river cruise bookings that have been rescheduled to next year and most recently another couple has rebooked a lovely domestic vacation on the West Coast of the U.S. for next spring to replace a cancelled vacation this Fall. It's been such an incredible challenge being a Travel Advisor during these times but most of us are getting through it one day at a time and continuing to work on our businesses as well to make improvements in every way we can.

If there's anything I can help you with to start planning some travel adventures even if they're located here in either the U.S. or Canada, I'd be happy to help - there's plenty to see and do in our beautiful countries as well!

What's great to see is that there are some deals from suppliers that are starting to surface to possibly entice some of us a little sooner to take that leap of faith. The great thing is that they're also enabling easy cancelling along with those deals, just in case... it's all very encouraging!
