Are You Interested in Joining Us?

Further to my blog last week, about this amazing opportunity with chartering a luxury river cruise vessel, I wanted to discuss more about this again here.

Here's the link to be able to take a more detailed look at this opportunity and you can even make your non-refundable deposit that will secure you a spot and save you $1000 per cabin/suite (with double occupancy), if you do this by June 30th, 2021.

I'm also planning to have a follow-up ZOOM presentation on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021 @ 7 pm EST if you'd like to join me and my AmaWaterways contact to get further information or to answer any questions you may have!

Please let me know if you'd like to be included on this zoom call and I can send you the link. You can simply email me at patti@millsroyluxurytravel.com and I'll be happy to follow up with you.

This is a very special, exclusive opportunity to join like-minded individuals who particularly enjoy wine tasting, some may also enjoy golfing, everyone loves traveling, and all attendees will have something in common!

Here's a depiction of the journey from a mapping perspective for the pre (Northern Spain), post (Loire Valley) and Bordeaux region river cruise, including the Gironde, Dordogne, and Garonne Rivers.

The very cool and interesting thing about this type of river cruising is that you don't have to worry about the water levels since this particular area is tidal based rather than having any locks. The water source enters from the Atlantic Ocean via La Gironde River rather than having to rely on rainfall in any given season. If you've ever been on a river cruise with locks, although it can be interesting, it can also be risky at times.

An interesting place to visit in Bordeaux is La Cite du Vin, an incredible wine museum with over 14,000 bottles of 800 different wines from more than 80 countries around the world! It's a wine lovers dream...

Bordeaux itself is one of the fastest growing cities in France, since it has so much appeal to many that people are moving there in droves. It's very walkable, has a wonderful historic old town, but has been revitalized and is such a shining star that should appeal to everyone! It has such impressive architecture with a long list of must-sees.

Did you know that San Sebastian, Spain (one of the pre-cruise elements) holds the second highest Michelin stars per square mile in the entire world? It's steeped in history from Napoleon's days, but also a beautiful, coastal resort town on the Bay of Biscay, about 12 miles from the border of France.

Bilbao, Spain, another great pre-cruise location has an impressive influence on the world of art with one of the world's leading modern art museums, namely Guggenheim Museum. And then there's nearby Guernica, that was infamously bombed during the Spanish Civil War and became the subject of one of Picasso's most renowned paintings.

And then there's the lovely Loire Valley, with more beautiful architecture including The Chateau de Chenonceau (depicted below), referred to as the women's castle since it was the only castle in the region that was built, inhabited, and saved by women during the Renaissance. This is the post cruise option for this tour and so much to offer to complete the journey, unless you have a further interest to spend some time in Paris prior to departing Europe.

All in all, it really is a very special opportunity that I hope you can enjoy with us in June of 2023. If we can fill the charter, it will give us much more control over the itinerary and expenses that will allow even more great value than you already have with the prices as noted in the link.

If you have any questions whatsoever, I'm here to get them answered when you're ready. Please do join us if you can for the zoom call so that you can get all the details first hand and be able to ask questions then as well.

Thanks so much for your consideration of this epic journey!
